The Blue Mountains is a landscape of contrasts and colour, rich in Australian bush. The Jenolan Caves are an award winning magical escape complete with 11 spectacular caves, containing pure underground rivers and astonishing limestone formations. Combine these two regions for a truly memorable touring experience.

06.45AM Your AEA Luxury Tours guide and vehicle will collect you from your Sydney Hotel and departing the city, we commence our journey to the spectacular Blue Mountains and Jenolan Caves. Whilst early, our departure time has us ahead of the traffic and ensures we can spend as much time available in these unique regions. We will stop en route for views over Jamison Valley and Three Sisters and morning tea/coffee refreshments.

We arrive at the Jenolan Caves – one of Australia’s national treasures. This beautiful Cave System is Australia’s most awe inspiring, with dazzling formations and pure underground rivers. Draped with limestone crystal, each of the many caves are astonishing in its own way. Some are enormous and hung with colossal formations millions of years old. Others are intimate and mysterious, forested with the most delicate crystal. Here, we will enjoy a scheduled 1.5 hour guided tour of one of these amazing caves. We also have time to view the Grand Arch and the mysterious Blue Lake.

Departing from the Caves, we travel through further regions of the Blue Mountains National Park, a wonderland of sandstone outcrops, deep ravines and hazy blue eucalypt forests. Visit Govetts Leap, one of the most famous lookouts in Australia with its waterfall that drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff.
We arrive at The Hydro Majestic, an iconic historical hotel stretching 1.1km along the escarpment edge of the spectacular World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains overlooking the picturesque Megalong Valley. Here in the renovated building of the old power station, with spectacular views, we enjoy a delightful 2 course lunch from the main menu with a glass of beer or wine per person included.
After lunch we head off to enjoy views of the Blue Mountains and your guide will discuss the history, flora and fauna of this region. Your guide will take you off the beaten track to remote lookout location for spectacular views. The last stop is at the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens where we stop to enjoy the sweeping views across to Sydney and toast our day with a glass of Australian Sparking Wine before arriving back at your hotel approximately 5.00 – 5.300pm
